Visita los Baobabs de Baines en el Parque Nacional Nxai Pans.

Seven giant baobabs stand like guardians at the edge of Kudiakam Pan, famously painted by Thomas Baines in 1862 and still looking almost the same today. You spend 2 hours exploring this spot in the southern part of Nxai Pans National Park, where the trees are nicknamed the Sleeping Sisters. In the dry season, the pan is dusty and wide, but after rains, it fills with water and transforms into a shimmering lake – a complete change of scene! Bring a picnic, sit under the shade, and notice how elephants strip the bark while baboons and antelope crunch on fallen pods. It is a simple outing with history, wildlife, and a landscape that keeps shifting.
